Job Description
Activities include: • Primary task consist out of conducting instruction for certifying staff maintenance by means of the following: 'stand-up' instruction, computer based training (CBT), mock-ups, etc. Training can be done at ‘home base’ and 'on-location'. Most instruction will be theoretical. Practical instruction will mainly concern assessing trainees on actual aircraft handling.
Instruction is done according EASA Part 66 within the Part 147 training organization and according specific Part 145 training tasks. Instruction will concern type specific training in initial and continuation training concepts and cover the entire aircraft or parts. • Translate practical (customer focus) occurrences in training solutions. • Using his/her didactical skills in the development of training material as training manuals, presentations etc. within the boundaries of EASA Part 66 and Part 147 • Conversion of training items to CBT modules. • Development and conduct of examinations as per EASA Part 66. • Signalize and act if any trainee is lacking the competence needed for the particular instruction.
Experience
The instructor should have extensive experience as a maintenance engineer preferable in a Part 145 organization and should have proven didactical skills. Experience overrules educational background. Should be or willing to become Part-147 certified.
Additional
Act as representative (as the instructor gives 'on-location' instruction, he/she must be able to represent the company in front of the customer).
